Software Discovery

Project Planning Bot

A guided planning conversation that helps you figure out what the problem really is, what a sensible first version looks like, and whether custom software is even the right move.

Project planning and software discovery

Early-stage clarity

Useful when the challenge is still messy, half-formed, or buried under assumptions.

What makes this useful

Clarity first, software second

48-hour private session

Deep questioning

It asks follow-up questions, challenges assumptions, and digs into workflows, users, constraints, and trade-offs.

48-hour access

Access is email-gated. Your private planning link lasts 48 hours, so you can come back to the conversation while the idea is still fresh.

Clear boundaries

This is for software planning, not general chatbot use, code generation, or broad business coaching.

What it can do

  • • Help you think through a software idea or process problem
  • • Identify requirements, priorities, unknowns, and risks
  • • Push back when your assumed solution does not match the problem
  • • Turn messy thinking into a clearer brief Rupert can actually scope

What it cannot do

  • • Replace a real discovery workshop when the situation is complex
  • • Give exact pricing, exact timelines, or delivery guarantees
  • • Build the software for you
  • • Help much if the issue is not really software-related

Privacy notice

I collect your name, email, optional company and phone details, plus your project stage so I can send you access to the Project Planning Bot and tailor the planning conversation and store the session, analyse common planning needs, and follow up if you ask for help.

I may share it with trusted service providers who help me run the website, store planning sessions, and send access emails. Providing the requested information is optional, but if you leave out key details I may not be able to respond properly or deliver the tool you asked for.

You can ask for access to the personal information I hold about you and request a correction if something is wrong. Read the full Privacy Policy.
